ALITALIA originally incorporated ITALIATOUR in New York in 1982. ITALIATOUR was ALITALIA tour operator and wholesale distribution subsidiary. During ALITALIA's restructuring plan , ITALIATOUR was abandoned.  Since 2006, the company is owned and operated by the EuroQuest Travel Group, based out of Hoboken, NJ.
