The route from Venice takes you into the Dolomites, driving through tunnels to emerge with astounding views of canyons and valleys spread before you. Arriving at Cortina, 'the Pearl of the Dolomites', take time out for a stroll to enjoy the stunning mountain vista. You can also tahe the cable car (additonal cost) up to Faloria at 2134mt, which overlooks the entire town of Cortina and the surrounding mountains.

Continuing your trip, you'll head toward Lake Misurina at 5,700 feet (1,756 meters) to admire the scenery of the Tre Dime di Lavaredo, the Sorapis, the Marmarole.  Here you will have time to wander around and explore or alternatively, you can enjoy an optional lunch (additonal cost)

After lunch you journey on to admire the picturesque Auronzo lake passing through enchanting mountain villages. Before making your way back to Venice.
