Introduction

Your comprehensive guided tour of Naples includes stops at the Cathedral to visit its Treasure Chapel and S.Restituta basilica, dating back to the 4th century. You'll also drive to Plebiscite Square to see the Royal Palace, the beautiful church of St Francesco di Paula, the Town Hall Square and the New Castle built by the French Family of Anjou. Before driving to Pompeii, you'll admire wonderful views of the picturesque baroque city of Naples from the terraces of Posillipo.

Then, your visit to the haunting ruins of Pompeii will take you back to the fateful day in 79 A.D. when neighboring Mt. Vesuvius erupted, covering the prosperous Roman city in deadly volcanic ash.

On your visit to Pompeii you'll be able to explore the fascinating site, expertly led by your tour guide. You'll see the Forum, the Thermal Baths, Vetti's House and the "Lupanare" brothel, all buried by volcanic ashes during the eruption.

Cruise Port Pick-up:
Cruise port pickup can be arranged for passengers arriving and departing Naples. For passengers arriving into NAPLES CRUISE PORT you must advise the cruise line, ship name, docking and departure details at time of booking. Pickup is at 8:15am, please allow at least 30 minutes from cruise arrival to disembark and meet the tour guide for your pickup. Your driver will display a sign with the lead traveler's name on it. All pickups are strictly available from Naples. Cruises arriving into Sorrento cannot be accommodated.

Rail Pickup:
If arriving in Naples by train, your pickup point is just outside the railway station on the left of the Star Hotel Terminus at 8:30am. Please wait outside the hotel. Your driver will display a sign with the lead traveler's name on it.
