into this afternoon adventure with a short introduction to
Dublin.
See the famous Malahide Castle, dating from the 12th century set amid
250 acres of parkland and gardens and learn about its great history on
a guided tour of this historic home of the Talbot family. You will also
get the opportunity to admire famous portraits from the National
Gallery, which are displayed in the castle. Stroll around the craft
shops or simply unwind to an afternoon tea (not included) in the
pleasant castle surrounds. Continuing through the Heritage town of
Malahide, the tour will take you past magnificent coastal scenery to
the picturesque fishing village of Howth.
The tour proceeds on to Howth summit where you can enjoy the stunning
bird's eye view of Dublin. Set against a backdrop of the Dublin and
Wicklow mountains, the view is renowned as one of the world's great
seascapes. Fee for admission to Malahide Castle is included. Commentary
