Cooking in Polizzi Generosa from Palermo

At 8:30AM you are greeted at Palermo port and drive to Polizzi Generosa, 
a lovely town in the heart of the Madonie Natural Park. 
The territory of the Madonie mountains is an isle in the island, a paradise 
of earth and sky where each corner guards its perfect history and its nature. 
We soon arrive in Polizzi Generosa where the architectonic patrimony alive 
spacing on surrounding the charming natural atmosphere, where the typical 
madoniti endemismi grow, and on the signs of the material culture: 
The ancient masserie transformed in farmhouse companies, the flour mills that 
testify the water wealth of the territory and the furnaces in the which today, 
like once, work the ceramics. On arrival Donna Santina will welcome us at her 
country charme restaurant. She will introduce us her kitchen and 
start the cooking course! At the end of the course we will enjoy the light-lunch 
tasting really typical local madonite dishes such us olive, bread, tagliatelle and 
the deliciously mixed antipasti. 
During the afternoon back to Palermo port (estimated arrival time 4:00 PM) (L)
