ITINERARY
Day 1 ROME - NAPLES - POMPEiI - SORRENTO
Early morning departure from Rome for Naples, where a short visit of the town
is featured. Then on to Pompeii, the famous Roman city destroyed by the volcanic
eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 a.D. Lunch in a local restaurant, and afterwards,
visit of the excavations. Proceed on to Sorrento. Dinner and overnight at the
hotel.
Day 2 SORRENTO
Continental breakfast. Day at leisure in Sorrento. Dinner and overnight at
the hotel.
Day 3 SORRENTO - CAPRI - ROME
Continental breakfast . Departure to Capri by steamer. Weather conditions
permitting, visit the Blue Grotto. Return to Marina Grande and then transfer to
Ana Capri. Lunch in a typical restaurant followed by a visit of Augustus'
Gardens with a view of the Faraglioni. Return to Rome, at approx. 09.30 p.m..
