information, maps and an itinerary with details,

Day 01: Tuesday – Rome to Montepulciano & Montalcino [breakfast & Lunch]
In the morning, meeting in Rome with the driver and
departure to the Montepulciano, in the Etruscan

culture, endured from an unknown prehistoric
time prior to the founding of Rome until its
complete assimilation to Italic Rome in the

Continue to Siena, travelling trough Montalcino
and the wonderful landscapes of Val d’Orcia.
Free time in Montalcino to walk through the
small and characteristic streets.
Arrive in Siena late afternoon and check in at

Day 02: Wednesday - Siena [breakfast, dinner]
Meeting with your local Guide in hotel and
departure for a walking tour of Siena, probably
Italy’s loveliest medieval city. Siena’s heart is Il
Campo or Campo’s square, where the famous
horse race Il Palio takes place two times each
summer. The town offer magnificent masterpieces
and incredible views.
The afternoon is free to continue to explore Siena
or visit one of the many beautiful small villages

Day 03: Thursday - San Gimignano &
Monteriggioni [breakfast, lunch]
In the morning transfer to Florence.
En route stop in Monteriggioni and San
Gimignano, two cities that like other Tuscan hill
towns, was first settled in the time of the
San Gimignano is listed as a World Heritage site
and fascinates for its medieval look. Its high
towers create a unique skyline. Lunch will be
served in a small and typical trattoria in San
Gimignano. Monteriggioni is considered one of most beautiful
castle in the world. It was a station of standstill on the Francigena Road, until the XI century,
when Siena transformed it into an imposing
Fortress to protect the northern boundary during
the wars against Florence.
Arrival in Florence and check in at hotel.
Free time to explore the town.
Overnight in Florence
Day 04: Friday - Florence [breakfast, Dinner]
In the morning, enjoy a walking tour of the city
Lorenzo de Medici transformed Florence into
the cradle of the Renaissance by attracting the
best artists, architects and writers of the time
such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and
Botticelli to whom he commissioned various
works. Visit Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo
Vecchio, the Dome with Giotto’s bell tower,
Ponte Vecchio, Santa Croce.
Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring
Florence on your own, visiting the Uffizi or the
Accademia or taking the opportunity to visit
Pisa or Lucca.
Overnight in Florence. Dinner will be served in a
local Tuscan restaurant.
Day 05: Saturday - Chianti [breakfast, lunch]
In the morning, departure for an half day
exploration of Chianti, a stunning hills region
between Florence, Volterra and Siena, famous for
its landscape and wines. This is not a big area but
it is incredible hom many things you may visit,
such as medieval cities and villages, castles and
parish churches. But Chianti is basically the place
of Chianti wine, among the best wines in the
world: we will have two en route stops for wine
and cheese tasting.
Lunch will be served in a local farm house from
where it is possible also to enjoy an astonishing

Day 06: Sunday - Departures [breakfast]
